We want to ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for all.

Our Commitment to Safety

At P.G. Mobile Petting Zoo, we prioritize safety above all else. Our animals are well-trained and handled with care. We ask that guests follow these simple rules and understand the requirements and expectations to ensure a safe, positive, and successful experience for everyone.

Requirements

Our service area is Prince George, BC.
It is your responsibility to ensure there is adequate space.
- Delightful Everyday Petting Zoo requires a 16 ft x 16 ft level space. Grass is kindest on the animals but we can set up on pavement, parking lots, driveways, and even garages.
We will need an adequate space to park our truck and horse trailer for the Delightful Everyday Petting Zoo.
Absolutely no dogs or pets near or in the same room as the petting zoo.
A 50% non-refundable deposit via e-transfer or credit card is required at the time of booking. The other 50% is due on the day of the event which can be paid via e-transfer, debit or credit card in person.
In the case of inclement weather, including extreme heat events, you may reschedule an outdoor booking without any loss of fees. If the event cannot be rescheduled or postponed, you will have a choice of either receiving a credit equal to the non-refundable deposit for future use with P.G. Mobile Petting Zoo OR forfeit 60% of the non-refundable deposit and have the balance returned.

Expectations

Applicable to All Zoo Services:

We will bring animals in a clean and healthy condition.
We will use straw or wood shavings as an absorbent outdoors if grass is not available.
We do not set-up on artificial turf, wood chips, gravel, or play bark.
We will provide hand sanitizer at the exit.
We reserve the right to deny any guest entry and/or ask any guest to leave.
We reserve the right to leave immediately if the animals or staff are being mistreated, bullied, or threatened by dogs. No refund will be issued.

Applicable to The Delightful Everyday Petting Zoo:

Requires 1 hour of set-up and clean-up before and after the event. Your price includes these hours.
Shade can be provided free of charge outdoors.
We do not provide any feed cups because this could lead to food aggression and animals chasing guests or fighting amongst themselves.
We will leave your outdoor space “broom cleaned” but cannot guarantee that we can pick up all the droppings.

Rules

Children 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Absolutely no dogs or pets allowed near the zoo or in the same room as the zoo.
Dogs must be kept on a leash and kept back a minimum of 20 ft at an outdoor zoo booking.
No smoking within 20 ft of the petting zoo.
Be gentle, calm, and kind with the animals. Do not chase the animals.
No balloons inside the zoo area.
We strongly advise wearing closed-toed shoes outdoors.
Keep fingers out of the animals’ mouths.
No food or beverages inside the petting zoo.
Have fun and ask questions!
Sanitize or wash your hands upon exiting the petting zoo.
